Description:
The bison herd in Kurozwęki are American Plain bisons. These animals have never been tamed by humans and remain to his day completely wild. They are a distant cousin of the European bison also known as the Wisent, differing from American bison mainly in size and in their horn positioning. The European Wisent have longer legs, a thinner coat and their horns point straight ahead. The American Plain bison’s mating season is in August/September and the period of gestation is 9 months long. A bison reaches its adult size after 3 years.

Promar company is one of the most significant additive suppliers on the market. Thanks to continuous development and investments, it has become a modern company that counts on the Polish market. Our largest production plant in Zawiercie is considered to be the most modern production and warehouse facility in the food additives industry in Poland.  It offers a comprehensive range of additives, including natural spices (traditional, sterilized, cryo-ground, homogeneous or blends), various functional additives, breading systems, glazes, brines for injection and alginate casings. Its R&D team is passionate about everyday challenges. Technologists and specialists in the field of taste creation and designing new solutions, based on current market trends, create new products. All departments work together to create and test ideas so that the results of their work meet the expectations of customers. Most of their work is a "tailor-made" offer, developed on the customer's request and adapted to the technological capabilities of the customer's machine park. Regardless of this, R&D spends a large part of its time on creating its own proprietary solutions. New products are created and tested on the basis of research on trends from the Polish and European market, which, along with the production technology, are presented to customers during special presentations. Thanks to the construction modern application center and the Academy of Taste, customers can assess the effects of development work by trying the finished products in the final form, which they will be able to produce and market themselves.
During ICoMST technical tour the production unit and laboratories will be presented. In the application center alginate casings will be demonstrated and participants will be able to taste the sausages produced during presentation.

T3 - Visit to the Silesia production plants in Sosnowiec

Description:
The plant in Sosnowiec is the biggest and most important one in the Silesia Group. It dates back to the 1990s. It specializes in the manufacturing of liver sausage, block, smoked and breaded products, thin sausages and hot dog sausages. Its monthly production capacity is 4,000 tons and the monthly meat cutting capacity reaches 3,800 tons. Such great capacities translate into a big number of highly qualified employees hired by the plant – 894. The facility has 55 smoking and steaming chambers, four specialized chambers (for smoking and aging), two specialized drying chambers, two professional slicing lines and as many as 17 loading ramps.

T4 - Visit to the Silesia production plants in Pszczyna

Pszczyna is second biggest plant in the Silesia Group, which makes excellent cold meats. It specializes in block products for slicing and thin sausages. Its monthly production capacity is 2,500 tons. The facility has 20 smoking and steaming chambers, two drying chambers, two professional slicing lines and three loading ramps. The plant hires over 300 qualified employees.

T5 - Visit to the Silesia production plants in Goczałkowice

Goczałkowice - Zdrój: Production facility specializing in the production of kabanos, sausages Nasze Polskie and smoked meats. The monthly production capacity is 1,200 tons. The plant has 18 smoking and steaming chambers, 4 specialized maturing chambers, 12 drying chambers, 5 loading ramps and a high-bay warehouse. In total, 230 qualified workers are employed in Goczałkowice.

T6 - Visit to the Sokołów Group production plant in Jarosław

It is one of the largest plants belonging to the Sokołów Group. Its history dates back to the 1920s. In 2000, as a result of the merger of the Farm Food and Sokołów Capital Groups, meat plant in Jarosław became one of the production divisions of Sokołów S.A. In the same year, as the first of the meat branch in Poland, it received the ISO 9002 certificate. Today, it is among the most modern meat processing plants in Poland.
The plant carries out slaughter and pork dissection. The plant specializes among the others in traditionally smoked products. The plant is equipped with a smokehouse where alder and beech smoke is used. The plant in Jarosław also produces tinned food, ready meals and game products, which are highly valued by consumers.

T7 - Visit to the Sokołów Group production plant in Dębica

Production of cold meats at the Dębica Plant began in 1994. Today, this plant is famous for the production of delicious salami and other fermented meats. The quality and taste of the products made here are guaranteed by modern production lines, the highest quality raw material, refined recipes, innovative technologies, well-trained and experienced staff and optimal conditions guaranteeing the correct course of the maturing process.
The plant in Dębica also specializes in the production of meat snacks that are very popular among consumers, such as salami chips, beef jerky, salamis.

T8 - Visit to the Sokołów Group production plant in Tarnów

The history of the "Sokołów" S.A. plant in Tarnów dates back to the 1920s. The plant in Tarnów carries out beef slaughter and dissection. It specializes in the production of high-quality beef, frozen burgers and frozen dishes. Beef from the plant in Tarnów meets the highest standards, recognized in Poland and around the world, and the production takes place with the use of solutions limiting the plant's impact on the natural environment.
The plant in Tarnów is equipped with the most modern production lines and has the ability to adapt the form of packaging to the various needs of the customers. Packaging machines are distinguished by enormous efficiency, thanks to which the plant can serve the largest domestic and foreign customers.
